Solum Consulting Group announces the extension of the existing contract with MINOSA for the Phase VI Leach Pad Expansion at the San Andres Mine
Solum Consulting Group is pleased to announce the extension of the existing contract with Aura Mining (MINOSA) for the execution of complementary basic and detailed engineering services associated with the Phase VI Expansion of the MINOSA Leach Pad Platform.
This new scope complements the project currently under development and represents a technical continuation of Solum’s ongoing work for the client, strengthening a collaboration built on technical excellence, multidisciplinary expertise, and adherence to high engineering standards.
The contract includes the development of basic and detailed engineering for the leach pad expansion, encompassing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and appropriate design criteria for operational performance and stability. The scope also includes the design of surface water drainage systems for the expansion area.
In addition, Solum will provide cost estimation support, considering materials, labor, equipment, contingencies, and cost optimization opportunities, as well as the development of detailed construction schedules, identifying key milestones and control points to support timely project execution.
The services further include the preparation of as-built documentation for areas where horizontal and vertical expansions have already been constructed, along with technical site visits and construction support, including weekly coordination meetings and periodic on-site presence for supervision, monitoring, and technical assistance.
A key component of the extension of the contract is the execution of a geomechanical study and geotechnical supervision for the Phase VI Leach Pad Expansion. This includes slope surveys, soil and rock testing, preparation of technical memoranda, and field supervision to support design parameters and ensure construction quality and long-term stability.
