Our projects

The Magistral project, located on the municipality of El Oro in the State of Durango, contemplates the beneficiation of old tailings with contents of gold, silver and copper. The project consists of three (3) major areas: Process Plant, Tailings Deposit and Tailings Storage Facility.

Solum’s Scope

Solum completed the Tailings Storage Facility Audit, which consisted of evaluating the existing tailings storage facility (TSF) in terms of environmental compliance as well as the general competence of the facility to accept newly generated tailings anticipated after planned recommissioning of the processing operations. The review study included a site visit to assess the existing condition of the TSF and ancillary facilities and to gather important information from both company and public sources.
